Don't let the 5.4 rating of the East Face route fool you, this climb is difficult, physically if not technically, and many (especially novice climbers) get trapped by the easy rating. Be sure to bring warm clothes with you, and be prepared for an unplanned bivouac. And don't even think of getting on this route without a helmet, there is a lot of loose rock. If I haven't scared you away yet, on the plus side, it is a very beautiful and fun climb. My favorite part was the tower traverse. . .once you rope up, you traverse out and up a narrow ramp, with a few hundred feet of exposure right from the start. Route finding is often difficult at the Fresh Air traverse, it it seems more difficult than you expect, keep traversing.
