The number of entries in this summit log is a proof of how popular this peak is. We took the route from the Breslauer Hut over Mitterkarjoch (3468 m) which is the shortest (3.5 h from the hut to the summit). The conditions in the steep snow field below the Mitterkarjoch were still good, even that late in the season. The rest of the route is an easy glacier walk If there is hard ice one can reach the col over the rocks left of the snow field (some bolts). It was a warm and perfectly clear late summer day and we had a view from the Bernina to the Dolomites. From Vent to the Breslauer Hut it is a hike of about 2 h (or 1 h if one use the Stablein chair lift).
