Thanks to Caglow for adding this peak.
Mount Torbert is in the west Alaska Range. It is just west of Anchorage, AK and east of Lake Clark National Park. The mountain can be seen from the towns of Kenai and Soldokna. It is located in a volcanically active region. The nearby mountain of Mount Spurr can be seen erupting on occasions.
The mountain is always snow covered. Several glaciers lead down from the mountain. Three of which end at Beluga Lake, just east of the mountain. It is often used for skating.
Note that a plane once crashed into the side of the mountain. Be careful if flying near the summit. Strong winds could shove the plane down onto the ground.
