El Buitre

Featured photo of El Buitre

EL BUITRE (MICANON) IS A NICE PEAK THAT CAN VIEWED FROM TRASANDINA ROAD IN MERIDA, VENEZUELA. IT IS LOCATED ON A KIND OF ROUNDED MOUNTAIN AND THATS WHY IT APPEARS REALLY EXTRAORDINARY AND IMPONENT IN FRONT OF US. CENTURIES AGO INDIAN SETTLERS NAMED IT AS MICANON BUT SPANISH CONQUESTERS CHANGED ITS NAME TO LOS BUITRES ON BEHALF OF THE TIPICAL ANDINIAN BIRD CALLED CONDOR WHO USED TO FLY ON THESE PLACES FOR A LONG TIME.
