Popular mountain which as a jeep track to the summit. Popular as it rises 6500ft from sea level asn is one of the World's busiest Paragliding take off points. The trail to the summit is 13km [ feels longer!] and starts at the far SE end of Olu Deniz at sea level. The route to the summit is waymarked with green paint the entire way & involves approx 2200m of ascent. The views from the summit are spectacular, owing to its prominence. In summer the heat would make an ascent tricky as the limestone from which the mountain is made means water is not available. The summit has a disused army[?] building upon it which is now used as a shelter by the paragliders. In the paragliding season tea / coffee & snacks are also available.
