Iddings Peak is in the Crazy Mountain Range, up Big Timber Canyon in Montana. Iddings Peak would generally require at least a two day hike, and is not recommended for novices. It is granite, but not very solid. Dangers include snow fields, rock slides, and about 4 miles on exposed cliffs, and vertical bursts. Total trip is about 21 miles. To get your legs try the taller, easy Crazy Peak first, and possibly even bring rappeling gear.
