Located southeast of Mount Brock, northeast of Mount Jerram, and directly above the head of King Canyon. It is one of the higher mountains in the Opal Range, and has an impressive southwest face which rises above the head of King Canyon which when viewed from Highway 40 or the surrounding area, leaves one staring in awe.
There is a Grade II 5.6 Alpine route on the north west ridge which has good quality limestone by local standards. Sean Dougherty mentions that the mountain had an
