Located at the south end of the Opal Range, north of the headwaters of the Elbow River and Pocaterra Creek. Elpoca is a massive mountain. Hiking from Elbow Lakes eastward, one has an excellent opportunity to be amazed at the massive southern walls of this mountain.

    for only my second climb ever it was a rush lost my wallet close to the summit so had to climb it twice but found it
