Situated Between three provinces of the central Panay Peninsula ( Iloilo, Antique and Capiz ) its dense forest and isolation make it very hard to conquer in the early 1990’s. The Antique Mountaineering Society made two failed attempts before the Iloilo Mountaineering Club made a successful climb from Brgy. Karatagan in Calinog.
