Queest Mountain

Located between the Anstey Arm of Shuswap Lake and the valley of the Eagle River, which is the route of the TransCanada and the CPR. There is a road to the summit from the Malakwa area just east of here, possibly an old fire lookout. The town of Sicamous is about 8km southwest of the summit.

History: Queest may have a meaning in Shuswap, which is the local Salishan language, but in the Chinook Jargon it is an expletive of disgust, something like
