Mount Tallac

An impressive and wild mountain in the S. Lake Tahoe area.

No permit for parking, many access points.

Long skin to the summit, ascent route presents itself as you go.

Steep skiing in upper chutes 45 degree plus,more reserved but fun sustained lines below to the base of the mountain.

Routfinding, as always, is helpful to getting out, and finding the vehicle.
