Thanks to Mark Toronto for adding this peak.
A massive 9,000 foot multi-ridged peak south of Lake Lahoe, located in CA. Long skin up the east face to s-turn up through avi terrain.
Excellent no fall skiing on the west and center upper reaches of the mountain. Combined with mid and lower level tree skiing via the eastern slope and general skin-up vecinity equals an incredible backcountry run.
Routfinding is key to getting out without endless bushwacking and skinning on snowmobile trails.
Access via residential roads, no parking permits needed.
The Weather Channel has a weather data recorder on one of Echo's peaks.
NOTE: Trip reports were previously called "Summit Logs" - same feature, new name
