The Hochgrat is a 1832 m hoher summit of the Allgäuer Alpen. He is the highest peak of the Nagelfluhkette and is located on the doorstep of the city of Oberstaufen.

The Hochgratbahn, leads from the Weißachtal onto the west shoulder of the Hochgrat. Below to the west of the top station of the Hochgratbahn there is the Staufner Haus (1634 m).

The Hochgrat is famous for its views to the Säntis and over Lake Constance. It is also a popular winter skiing region.
