One of the first mountains being climbed in the Berner Oberland, probably by local herdsmen, long before the official first climbers. The Strahlegghorn is accessible via the Schreckhornhütte. From the hut you have to traverse a glacier, walk over moranic terrain to the Strahleggpass. Then scrambling up a rock ridge to the summit which offers spectacular views.
