The peak is treeless with a lodge below on a pass. The trail leading up to the lodge and peak is steep from the village of Melamchigon. If it is raining then there will be an abundance of leeches or pepes as the locals call them. The peak is easily accessible in 4 to 5 hours from the village of Melamchigon.
The lodge is called Sumchho Top Lodge. It is closed during the winter months because of lack of trekkers and snow fall.
The peak is relatively low compared to the surrounding peaks. It does offer a great view of the surrounding Langtan Range.
