Round Mountain

This Round Mountain is located nine miles WNW of the town of Darrington and immediately northeast of Mount Higgins in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. While not remarkable in elevation at 5320+ feet, Round Mountain is noteworthy for its great prominence of 4780 feet which ranks eighth among mountains in the state of Washington, 69th in the Lower 48 states, and #1 in Skagit County. Round Mountain can be seen from Highway 530 west of Darrington. Access via Swede Heaven Road from Highway 530.
