Thanks to LTCM for adding this peak.

An excellent walk and scramble on one of the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana, a mountain range stretching along the northern coast of Mallorca.

Start at Font d’es Pedregaret near Finca Binifaldo across mule tracks and scree tongues, together with two short fixed wire scrambles up through a couple of climbing passages to a moonscape plateau to the concrete pillar on the summit (1,104m / 3,250ft).

The ascent is around 600m and a return route should take 3-4 hours. NOTE: Don’t forget a pen to sign the summit book, if you can find it!

The route has great views of Massanella (1,352m - Mallorca’s highest trekking summit), Puig Major (1,445m - Mallorca’s highest peak), Puig Roig (1,003m), the bay at Port d’Alcudia and Pollença to Cap Formentor, and on a clear day you can see Menorca to the northeast.
