Mount Sherman Trip Report (#9843)

Alice, Beth, and I climbed this on a day that was pretty at first. This was the 4th peak in 4 days for Alice and me: we did Elbert, Huron, and Massive the prior 3 days. We started from Iowa Gulch near Leadville. It was harder than I expected, pretty much boulders all the way, but was the easiest of the 4 peaks. We hurried down because a storm cloud was approaching as we made the summit. We heard 2 thunderclaps and were snowed on, but there was no storm. When we were done, we observed that Mount Massive had received a large amount of snow while we were climbing.
