Hoher Zinken, Osterhorn

Hoher Zinken and Osterhorn is a twin peak and also the highest point of Osterhorngruppe. This group is situated between the Salzkammergut- Mountains and the Berchtesgaden Alps.Northeast there are steep grass-slopes and walls, to north-east a long ridge named Saurücken, south a short slope direction Gr. Radl, to the northwest a slope.

From Hintersee-Lämmerbach ( 2563 ft) on carriage road to Leitenalm. From there,a few ft. downhill and on a marked steep path to the top of Hoher Zinken ( 3 h). In 10 min. to Osterhorn.

Downhill like uphill. Warning : Only use the marked paths, all other will be very dangerous.
