Thanks to peter lyssy for adding this peak.

Rossbrand belongs to the Salzburger Schieferalpen ( slate mountains of Salzburg), this group is extending from Zell am See in the west to the upper Ennstal ( Enns valley, Enns is a long river crossing Salzburg, Styria and Upper Austria) in the East. The mountain has to all sides gently slopes.

Rossbrand should be done by mountainbike, not by feet. In Radstadt ( 2780 ft) ask for the carriage way to farm Eschbach. Uphill first this carriage way, then on a toll-road ( toll only for cars) to hut Radstädter Hütte( Austrian Alpine Club, managed) and from there a few steps to the summit. Inclination uphill enduring 10 %. The view of the summit is very famous, you can see in a 360 degree panorama 350 ( !) summits of Austria. Downhill on the toll-road, partially 15-18 %.All the roads are asphalted.
