Faisten Schafberg

Faisten Schafberg is a remarkable pyramid. Although not a high mountain, he is very isolated and you can see him from numerous other mountains. The west slope is wood-covered, the east slope is an extreme steep grass-slope. From the top you will enjoy an uncommon view. From December to March it is very nice ski excursion.

Ask in the village Faistenau for tourist parking above the farm Döllererhof. From there you will ascent in 2 1/2 h. Be careful if there is snow on the short ridge to the top.
