Thanks to Eloy G. Boulton for adding this peak.
It is located inside the borders of a zone under discussion between the venezuelan states Falcón and Lara. The range to which it belongs is more exactly a separate group of mountains and hills between the venezuelan Andes and the Coastal Range.
From the town of Quebrada Arriba (Lara State) take a 4x4 dirt road to the village of El Cerrón, nearest inhabitate zone from the summit. Ask locals for information. A 3 hour hike will take you to the summit. The surrounding region is agricultural and cattle raising.
