Carruthers Peak

The walk to Carruthers Peak is along the Main Range walk which starts at Charlotte Pass in the Kosciuszko National Park.

After starting the walk you can do a small diversion and visit the Blue Lake which is one of four cirque lakes created by glaciers found in mainland Australia.

The view from Carruthers Peak encompasses areas of Victoria along with Mt Kosciuszko and the other mountains of the Kosciuszko Main Range.

You can continue the Main Range Walk and also reach the top of Mt Kosciuszko before finishing the loop back at Charlotte Pass making a total of around 22km.
