Mt Hale

Featured photo of Mt Hale

This mountain is named in honor of author Edward Everett Hale. Two official trails lead up to its summit the first Hale brook trail departing from route 302NH and its second Lend -a-Hand trail leaves from Zealand Falls Hut. Combined with the Zealand trail in this order this itinerary makes a good counterclockwise loop. Also take note that a Heardpath starts off Little river going up Hale from its western flank this, path is evident and few people pass here. Unfortunately this summit offers no views.
