Jegihorn
Jegihorn (3206 m) is a small peak in comparison with its great neighbours at its east side (Fletschhorn 3993m, Lagginhorn 4010 m, and Weissmies 4017 m). It is a ferrata playground which includes standard fixed cables, but also a cable-bridge, ladders, climbing a net on an almost vertical rock, etc. However, the normal route from the south side (from the Weissmies-hut, 2726 m) is a rock climbing which requires no equipment, and it can be done in 1.5 hours from the hut. The hut can be reached from Saas Grund in 4 hours. There is a car parking at the cable car station (6 SF per day). From this point one takes the road which goes to the left and up, following the signs to Kreuxboden (2397 m) and Weissmies hut. Alternatively, one may take the cable car to Kreuxboden.
