Mount Kitchener Trip Report (#10457)

Mt Kitchener (11500') is visible from the Icefields Parkway, just after the Dome Glacier on the left side of the road if you're driving to Jasper. I haven't hiked to the summit, but I believe this mountain would require an ice axe and crampons, since it is snow-covered year round and glaciers are present. The Columbia Icefield sits on top and just behind Mt Kitchener. The Stutfield glacier is a large glacier originating from the summit.
