Pointes de Mourti is a popular climbing destination, a mountain that rises on the west side of the Moiry glacier, in the Grimentz area. It can be climbed from the car parking at 2350 m above the Moiry lake, or from the Moiry hut (2825 m); more details are available at the site of Pigne de la Le. The route is complex: rock up to around 3000 m (up to half an hour after the hut), which is then continued by a long glacier walk, then rock again and glacier. The Moiry glacier is heavily crevassed.
