Rincón peak is one of the ten peaks above 5000m (16447ft) in Cordón del Plata range. It is situated in the central area of the range. It has very steep wall in its South and East faces. The easiest route is by the North face. To climb this peak you will need 3 o 4 days, starting from Vallecitos Huts Area at 3000m (9868ft) where you can leave your vehicle. It's useful to carry on ice axe and crampons.
