From Innsbruck the Hinterhornalm near Gandenwald can be reached by car. Toll must be payed. Then nice walk up through a zone of low pine wood and a steep gravel flank to a triangulation pole. Afterwards one walks up westbound straight on the ridge. Difficult sections are equipped with wire ropes up to the summit. Nice tour with breathtaking view over the Inn Valley and the Karwendel mountains. Time for going up about 2 hours, depending of saison and conditions.
