ENG: Guallatire is an active volcano of Cordillera Occidental inside the Lauca National Park. To reach the volcano drive by jeep the asphalt road from Putre towards La Paz up to a narrow unsurfaced road on the right which arrives at the base of the north-western side of the volcano where the route begins and in about 5 hours leads to the top. Fantastic view over the altiplano and Chungarà Lake.

ESP: el Guallatire es un volcàn activo de la Cordillera Occidental que se enquentra en el Parque Nacional Lauca. Para subirlo se recorre en jeep la carretera asfaltada desde Putre hacia La Paz hasta un camino de tierra a la derecha que llega a los pies del vertiente nor-occidental del volcàn donde empeza la ruta que aproximadamente en 5 horas lleva a la cumbre. Panorama magnifico al altiplano y Lago Chungarà.
