Itkol Peak

Itkol peak is a 3531 meters peak just two miles far from Elbrus mountain in the Baksan Valley in Kabardino-Balkaria republic, Russia.

There nearest village to the peak is Terskol. There are many scramble and basic snow climbing routs to the peak. Climbing Itkol is a good way to get a proper acclimatization before climbing Elbrus mountain
