Mt Baldy

Featured photo of Mt Baldy

This is an easy hike, that starts at the end of Upper Skyline drive in Eagle river, Ak off the Old Glenn highway you take Eagle river loop then take Upper skyline drive which you take to the end to reach the trail head where you can park on the side of the road. There are awesome views on Denali and Foraker when the weather permits and views on the Chugach mountains. This hike can be muddy in spring and is characterized by heavy erosion. If you are a good hiker who hikes a lot, you can do this under 2hrs. This is a perfect hike to stop by when you are on your way out of Anchorage.
