Mount Timpanogos Trip Report (#10837)

Timpanogos is a fun, though strenuous hike (around 5000 feet vertical gain). There are two routes from emerald lake, one up the north ridge, the other up the small pocket glacier and the south ridge. I ascended the north ridge trail (steep but not exposed) and then descended the south ridge and glissaded the glacier. The glissade is quite steep and great fun, but an ice axe is a good thing to have.
