Aiguille de Roselette

Aiguille de Roselette is part of the Beaufortain massif in the Graian Alps section of the Western Alps. It is reachable from Notre Dame de la Gorge, a popular spot on the Tour de Mont Blanc trail. The last 150 m. (in elevation) are rocky and require scrambling. The summit is on the north end of a rocky ridge, opposite to TĂȘte de la Cicle and Aiguille de la Pennaz. It is possible to follow the ridge, scrambling up and down, to the col de la FenĂȘtre (2245 m.).

    From Notre Dame de la Gorge (1190 m.) we walked first through a forest on a steep trail, then on a downhill ski piste; the latter part was undulated, lacking interesting features, and quite boring....
