Featured photo of Gonzen

Gonzen is the home mountain of Sargans and the landmark of the region. With an altitude of 1830 m it provides a marvellous view down on the valley ground with a vertical height of 1350 m. From north a footpath leads to the top. The south wall is a thing for climbers only. A former iron ore mine at the foot of the peak is a museum now.
