Thanks to Ronald James for adding this peak.

Rampart Ridge is located northeast of Snoqualmie Pass in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Rampart Ridge is prominently seen by travelers on eastbound Interstate 90 near Hyak as it is situtated on the east side of Gold Creek Valley between Alta Mountain and I-90. Rampart Ridge is slightly on the east side of the Cascade Crest spine, so precipitation from Rampart drains into the Yakima River, which in turn drains into the Columbia River.

There is a 12 mile round-trip trail to to reach the summit. From the Lake Kachess campground, drive the signed road to Rachel Lake Trail. Hike the trail to Rachel Lake, and then Rampart Lakes. Camping at Rampart Lakes makes for a nice overnight trip.
