Finally, I did it solo. I started together with Keith and Scott from Piedra Grande after 3 days of acclimatization. Despite of that, Keith got sick after a while and returned to the hut. Scott and me lost each other in the dark. After a long climb in the night -several times I thought I got lost- I reached the ice-needle and a couple of minutes later the summit, the top of Mexico. At 8 o'clock in the morning I was the highest person of Mexico. Scott summited about an hour later, I met him on my way down. Thanks to: +Mr Secor, for his great guide book "The volcanoes of Mexico" +Mr Reyes, his family and staff, for accomodation and transport
My highest peak so far, but I want to climb higher !
