What an outstanding climb! It was easily the hardest thing (aerobically) I have ever done. The weather was absolutely perfect and the glacier was in perfect climbing condition. We hiked at night under a full moon which totally negated the need for headlamps. I climbed well until 17,500- where I really felt the altitude. Me legs felt like two leaden posts, but I managed to drag my but up to the 18400 summit. Easily the best accomplishment of my life to date!
