I left the hut at 1:30 am with my climbing friend Jordan Clay and our guide Roberto Florez. We were in the clouds and got soaked by the constant drizzle. Before we got to the glacier we were above the clouds and dry. We were the only people on the mountain making a summitt attempt. The snow conditions on the glacier were very good. We made the summitt at 10:15 am. The sky had partially cleared and we had great views. A German couple that stayed at the hut said they could see three dots moving u p the mountain from the hut. I hope they send us a photo. I took 3 hours 15 minutes to get back to the hut.
