Do plenty of acclimitization. We climbed La Malinche (14,600 ft) as a warm up three days before, and climbed above the headwall (16,000 ft) the day before summit bid. Know how to use the right tools on steep snow. Some people came down because they were too sketched to continue. Out of the 20 or so climbers we talked to, only 3 had submitted. Most got sick, but some just got scared. While not extremely difficult technically, this is not a Sunday walk in the park. This is some real elevation, and you need to get ready for it.
