After a hard drive from Guadalajara to Tlalchichuca ( almost 10 hours )we arrive to de hut in Piedra Grande at 14,400 ft.and made aclimatation and sleep there. Next day, at 4:15 a.m. Me and two more friends with our mountain guide "el pulques" or the "cumbre 7", from Mexico city start climbing the south face and reach the summit at 11:15 a.m., after seven hours of crampons walk and line technique. The weather was perfect and the montain conditions excelent for climbing. This was our first intent to make summit in this peak and we made it. You must be in good shape for this challenge and have all the equipment for high montain.
