We traveled with Reyes family (www.servimont.com.mx). They were very helpful. The food was fantastic. Obviously, the price was more than doing it alone, but it was nice to have every detail handled by someone who could speak English fluently.
I would make two recommendations. 1) Bring ear-plugs for sleeping in the town (dogs all night and roosters at the crack of dawn). 2) Do not leave your gear unprotected. We met a guy on the mountain who had his jacket stolen when he was resting in his bivy sack. The shepherds that roam the mountain have been known to snatch things.
