Perfect weather, perfect snow. Climbing Jamapa Glacier was just wonderful. The view from the top was incredible beautiful. We spent one night at Piedra Grande hut, next night we camp at the base of the glacier. We start climbing by 3:00 am under a wonderful starry sky. I walked five minutes and rested one to watch stars at 5000 mts. above sea level, just a dream for me, a lover of mountains and astronomy. Sunrise was marvelous too. We arrive to the summit by 7:30 under perfect conditions. Only six persons made to the top that day. Climbing down was tired but without any problem. We will be back soon.
