Junction Butte is located in Canyonlands National Park southwest of Grand View Point Overlook. This Wingate Sandstone mesa is situated between the Green River and Colorado River in a remote area of the park accessible only by four wheel drive vehicles on the White Rim Road. Easiest view of Junction Butte is from Grand View Point which is a one mile hike from the end of the Island in the Sky Road. 

Prominence: 1720 feet.
