The Rectory

The Rectory is the unofficial name applied to the rock formation located immediately north of Castleton Tower in the Castle Valley area. "Priest and Nuns" are immediately north of The Rectory, and "The Convent" is at the far north end of Castle Ridge. 400 foot high Wingate Sandstone walls guard the summit of this thin mesa. Climbing routes start at 5.9 difficulty, with some 5.11.
