Iron Mountain is located in the southwest quadrant of Mount Rainier National Park. It's situated on the southwest slopes of the Rainier massif in the area of Indian Henry's Hunting Ground, immediately south of its twin, Copper Mountain. Access from the Kautz Creek trail, some easy class 2 scrambling to reach the summit from the Copper-Iron notch.
Prominence: 683 feet.
