Copper Mountain is located in the southwest quadrant of Mount Rainier National Park. It's situated on the southwest slopes of the Rainier massif, in the area of Indian Henry's Hunting Ground, immediately north of its twin, Iron Mountain. Access from the Kautz Creek trail, easy class 2 scrambling to reach the summit from the Copper-Iron notch.
