The great thing about this scramble is the Highwood Meadows parking area sits at over 7200 ft., which makes it relatively physically easy
to attain such a high summit. Mentally however their are some challenges such as dealing with the exposure on the arete approaching the summit. Be sure take an ice axe and a helmet and watch out for loose rock beyond the gendarme; I had a very spooky moment when a friend let loose some rock above me while traversing an exposed area just below the arete. Definitely a great scramble and a beautiful veiw. I'll be going back.
