Thanks to Jonathan Boarini for adding this peak.

A very imposing cone, Toliman dominates the southern horizon of lake Atitl┬Ěn. It's last eruption took place in 1853. The volcano is a composite cone, nad has two

main craters. The northern one, has a large stadium shaped crater, and the southern cone, is the highest point at 3158 meters. The area is extremely beautiful. The climb passes through coffee and corn plantations, and then through dense sub tropical rainforest, taking

about six hours. Guides can be secured in San Lucas.

Sorry, we don't currently have the latitude and longitude of Toliman in our database. Therefore we can't show this peak on a map.

Nice and hard ascent to the summit. Not well marked trails.

An 8 hour walk-up for a man without much training or experience. Sunrise on the summit was a stunner. Unfortunately the sky was rather murky.
