It is good to leave the hut early to avoid traffic jams. There was just a little ice at the beginning and then the snowconditions were perfect. Nice big crevasses that could easily be avoided. Terrible wind all the way. Walked in six hours taking a lot of breaks and was the first to reach the summit with my excellent guide Ethgar. Nice views into the crater and the surrounding volcanos! Although it is technically not difficult, the weather conditions and altitude can make that this mountain is not for beginning climbers!
